Trust, open communication, strategic thinking, and preparation are the foundational elements of my practice.  I work closely with each client – homeowners, small businesses, and international companies – to understand their individual or business objectives, learn the nuances of their case, and aggressively pursue their goals.

I have extensive experience litigating business and commercial disputes within a wide range of industries.  I have represented clients in numerous matters involving breach of contract, construction defects, commercial fraud, defamation, premises liability, and real estate disputes including everything from billboard easements to title actions and adverse possession.  I have also worked closely with global financial institutions and Fortune 50 companies to manage government investigations.

I have prosecuted and defended cases in every stage of litigation from initial case evaluation and analysis to discovery, motion practice, mediation, trial, and appeal.

The most rewarding aspect of my practice is working with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and other professionals to find creative ways to resolve disputes, negotiate contracts, and close deals.  I take immense pride in representing each and every client and never take the trust placed in me by my clients for granted.

Outside of practicing law and investing in real estate, I am an avid runner and cyclist and a proud father to two wonderful kids.  I was born and raised in a suburb of Detroit and now live in Waukegan with my wife and children.
